Treatment of Mesothelioma

I only discovered there was a condition called Mesothelioma a short while ago, I had confused the cancer with what is commonly known as Asbestosis. There is currently no known cure, but there are forms of Mesothelioma treatment.
In the early stages, radical surgery may prove sufficient, but in later stages a program of other therapies including chemotherapy and radiation therapy (possibly combined) may be employed. Alongside these treatments, a number of therapies must also be considered to ease the symptoms of the disease as well as attacking the cause - ie. the tumor. Although there is no established cure, if caught early enough, treatments may provide a significant extension of life-expectancy.
